How (BOB) becomes wBOB
Connect a Gnosis wallet at bridge.subgenius.finance and you get a permanent Dobbscoin deposit address. Send (BOB) to it. The coins stay locked there, on the Dobbscoin chain.
The bridge waits for 60 Dobbscoin confirmations, about 2 hours, so a reorg can't undo the deposit after the wBOB exists.
3 of the bridge's 5 watcher keys sign the deposit, and the bridge contract mints exactly that many wBOB to your Gnosis address. 1 (BOB) in, 1 wBOB out. No SubGenius.Finance fee.
Burn wBOB on the bridge's Withdraw page and the same amount of (BOB) is paid to your Dobbscoin address. The bridge pays the Dobbscoin network fee.
What the wBOB contract enforces
- 1:1. wBOB has 8 decimals, the same as (BOB), so one Dobbscoin dobbalina (0.00000001 (BOB)) mints one wBOB dobbalina.
- No double minting. Send to your deposit address as often as you like: every deposit mints its own wBOB. The contract remembers each deposit it has paid out, so the same deposit can never be counted twice.
- Signatures required. A mint needs signatures from 3 of the 5 registered watcher keys, checked on-chain.
- Daily cap. At most 250,000 wBOB can be minted per UTC day. Deposits over what's left that day are minted up to the cap and the rest is sent back to the sender.
- Published source. Both contracts are source-verified: wBOB and the BridgeController.
Who runs it: SubGenius.Finance operates the bridge and its watchers. The rules above are what limit that operator, and the reserve figure above is published so anyone can check the backing at any time.

- wBOB: send (BOB) to your deposit address at bridge.subgenius.finance. It mints 1:1 on Gnosis after 60 Dobbscoin confirmations, up to the daily mint cap.
- HONKLER on Gnosis: bridge Ethereum HONKLER to Gnosis through the Gnosis OmniBridge. It arrives as the Gnosis copy above.
- Gas: Gnosis transactions are paid in xDAI. First-time wBOB bridgers can opt in to a small xDAI drip on the bridge page.
